Today we going to see how to make INSTANT ADAI DOSAI.... As we all know Adai Dosai is rich in protein , we are using 4 types of pulses which is highly rich in protein and for carbohydrates we are using Raw rice.... Usually Adai Dosai is a time consuming process........
To make it easier here is the solution .... Follow the recipe and i hope you all will like it............
INGREDIENTS :
TO MAKE INSTANT ADAI DOSAI MIX :
Raw rice - 1 cup
Urad Dhal - 1/4 cup
Toor Dhal - 1/4 cup
Bengal Gram Dhal - 1/4 cup
Split Moong Dhal - 1/4 cup
TO MAKE INSTANT ADAI DOSAI :
Chopped Onions
Chopped Coconut pieces
Red chilly powder
Turmeric powder
Asafoetida / Hing powder
Curry leaves
Salt - To taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION :
1 . Clean the pulses and rice, remove the debris, no need to wash the ingredients...
2. Grind the Toor dhal , Urad Dhal , Bengal Gram Dhal , Split Moong Dhal along with Raw rice into
a fine powder...
3. Here i have given equal quantity for all the pulses , if you wish you can decrease the quantity of
Urad Dhal and increase the amount of Toor Dhal.... [ Note : how much you decrease the quantity of
Urad Dhal increase the same amount in Toor dhal ]
4. Grind the ingredients as per your preference, if you want your ADAI DOSAI to be soft then grind
the mixture in to a fine powder... Or if you want it to be crunchier then Coarsely grind the
ingredients...
5. You can store this INSTANT ADAI DOSAI MIX up to 6 months in an AIR TIGHT CONTAINER.
6. Now to make ADAI DOSAI , Take required amount of INSTANT MIX in a bowl , Now add
required amount Red chilly powder , Turmeric Powder , Asafoetida / Hing Powder , and salt to taste.
7. Add chopped Coconut pieces , chopped Onions and curry leaves...
8. The quantity of the above ingredients should be as per your preference , I have taken Half cup of
Instant mix , for that i have add 1/4 tsp red chilly powder, a pinch of Turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida / Hing powder...
9. Now add water little by little until it become like DOSAI BATTER....
10. On a Dosai Tawa add 2-3 tsp Oil , [ we have to add min 2-3 tsp oil to make a Adai dosai , coz we
are adding 4 types of pulses and raw rice, it have the tendency to become dry and hard if we dont put
enough oil to cook ]
11. Cook it in Medium flame until it turn golden brown on both the sides....
12. Now INSTANT ADAI DOSAI is ready to serve....
you can serve this hot as such or you can serve it with its classic combination AVIYAL....
